I swear that devil woman is trying to ruin me! Everytime I eat something she makes I gain two pounds the very next day now I know that wicked Mrs. Harper is trying to ruin my figure! She is so jealous that I am Vincent's lady. She wants her little boy all to her self. What can I do to stop her from making me eat that dreadful food? I've tried tossing it on Bubba's plate when no one was looking but I got caught. Now what?

First of all many momma's feel that sharing food is an expression love. It's human nature. It is also a cultural habit. Explain to your mother n law that maintaining your weight is an every day stuggle and that in order to do so, you must eat less than most. Thus while you enjoy her cooking and like to sample everything, please use a smaller plate for your servings and to only dish up a spoon of each dish. So you can relax and truly enjoy her meal, without the worry of weight control. Thank her for understanding with this issue.

Do you live with your in laws? If so, isn't it time to move out? And don't put any extra food onto anyone else's plate that is how weight problems develop.
Do you make an effort to be nice to her, jealousy can be a two way street. You will be a mother-in-law one day so be carefull as this might be you in the future.
If you are not nice to his mother then she will think you are not being nice to your partner/husband.
Time to grow up and show your mother-in-law there is room for you both in your respective roles in 'Vincent's' life.

I think the better question is why do you bow to your mother-in-laws whims. No one can force you to eat anything. Are you just trying to blame her for your weight gain? I hope not but you may want to look at your motives for eating what she gives you. You may unconsciously be looking for excuses for your own bad behavior. Think about it.

You need to take a good long look at yourself before calling anyone evil or jealous.... she probably does not like you because you are totally full of yourself - I doubt she likes sharing her food with you either. She knows you are paranoid of weight gain - she feeds you fattening foods with hopes you will finally stop coming to her house!!

Now what? Here's what.
Shut your ingrate mouth, clean your damn plate, and show some respect. And. If out of love and hospitality she happens to give you to much, show some back bone and simply say "no thank you".

Seems like you've been getting caught a lot lately. ... I am guessing she doesn't like you. It sounds like you live there with her. .. GET THE PICTURE. She wants you out! .. She doesn't like you. .. And I am guessing that you stripping in front of your nephew did not help matters either.

You may wanna try cooking for her instead. If you don't like the results from her food, use your own.
