in my school i saw this girl that has long her like up to her waist i dont know how girls do it to to have long hair i mean their hair grows fast.i have my hair up to my elbows but wat can i do so my hair can get longer cuz i notice if i cut my hair it alwayz grows near my elbows and dats it and it doesnt get longer than dat. a girl told me to cut my hair and den not cut it for 3 months and den after 3 months just to cut the tips a lil bit.wat should i do???

They say Bob Martins work. But why would you want your hair to grow that long? It really looks awful most of the time, so maybe the fact that yours does not grow past your elbows is a sign.

i had that problem too but my hair is long now i trim just a little off every month like a quarter inch or so. It gets rid of all the dead split ends and won't break as much and thin out

i have the same problem. i think that for some people no matter what you do, your hair has some set length. ive tried the trimming and everything and it just wont go any longer than about 5 inches longer than my shoulders... so try everything you can but if it doesnt work, then it may just be genetics

you could go to your nearest rite aid and get mayonnaise or aloe hair growth balm for african american hair..but unfortunately if ur hair only grows to your elbows it would probably look stringy if you tried to grow it longer. And don't believe it when hair stylists tell you you need to get ur hair cut to make it grow! thats retarded! well good luck

My aunt told me if you massage your scalp daily it will get the blood circulating and it will make your hair grow but idk lol
Anyway just don't do anything it takes time for your hair to grow that long so just keep your ends trimmed and that's about it.
