The Crusades began because the Muslims had taken over 2/3 of the Christian world and were committing violent acts against Christians. If Muslims refrain from trying to take over the world and refrain from committing violent acts, there will be no need for more Crusades.

Are you talking about "the crusades" or about a crusade?

If you are speaking of the events in history that are referred to as the crusades, I think it was a terrible time. Men used God's name to promote their own agendas. Unfortunately, we see some of the same things today.

I personally don't object to the Crusaders attempting to throw the Muslim hoardes out of Jerusalem. That mission was certainly appropriate. I do believe though, that the entire plan was flawed and not executed properly. Many in the Crusades did not go in with the right intentions. Had it been well planned and executed, it would have been a noble endeavor.

Surely you jest. What are the chances that the average christian on the street has any idea of what the word even means, let alone what happened? History is the work of the devil, just like science. What a beautiful way to get out of having to learn anything.

Nothing now is their turn to kill muslims with the war in iraq ,supporting the Jews that are killing palestinians that are muslims and a born again christian president that wants another war with Iran and Pat roberson asking to kill President Chavez.
