There is this girl, A, according to her, there's this guy, B, who will wait for her to turn 21 (she's 16), then ask her parents for her hand in marriage. She actually belived that B is going to marry her when she's turned 21, and she's looking forward to it.
What I want to ask is this, will B, after 5 years later, marry her?
Which I think will probably not happen, the reason for my thinking is:
1) 5 years is a long time, and don't time has a way of changing things. I mean who knows what might happen in that 5 years?
Even newlywed couple might be divorced in 5 years.
Advice please?

Yes- I also feel 5 years is too long a period.
In the five years both the boy and girl ill come across another girl or boy and fall in love and they will forget about their agreement. Probably it was possible in olden days but now in this fast age anything may happen and both will not be pure. They may get married without the knowledge of other person with others.
Secondly, if they live nearby and meet often without marriage, they might have tasted the sex themselves and they will not have the thrill of getting married after 5 years. -

One, it depends on how old B is.
Two, how much they are going to be around each other during this five years
Three, depends on whether B has quite a bit of crush to say this to A and not love (I was 14 when I thought I am going to marry a 12 year old friench girl when I get older and have kids that look half indian and french and next year when I saw year, i was going... what the hell was i thinking?)
Well, based on how the world works and young minds work, I would say B and A would have met quite a bit of nice attractive people in 5 years and probably B would forget A and not wait.
And forgot to add someone. A might also wait for the 5 years for B, ignoring other nice Bs during this time, as B is forgetting A and having a good time with other As.

I wonder how old B is?
I would say 95% not possible. At the early age of 16, what does anyone know about marriage?
Ages 16-21 are the prime years of growth, and she could be a completely different person in 5 years.
I dated someone from the age of 15 -21 and marriage never seriously crossed my mind. At age 21, I was a completely different person as was he, and as great as he was, I regret commiting myself to one person during the best dating years of my life!

Its very likely that it will dissolve long before the 5 years is up, however, I have seen stranger things happen. A lot of people I went to high school with did get married. They started dating when they were about that age (15, 16, or 17) and then got married in their 20's. So yes, it IS very possible.

at 16 you can't figure out how life's gonna be in the next 5 years.
In those 5 years you are gonna live experiences that will define your personality for the rest of your life. And by the time you are 21 you'll be a different person.

easily, it is what my husband and that i are doing besides. We married at the same time as i became 21, he became 25. i began regulation college a month after our wedding ceremony. So, at present my practise is the precedence. we do not prefer to hurry into having little ones. we are presently taking area in spending time with one yet another. i'm on hormonal birth control it extremely is ninety 9% powerful at combating being pregnant. see you later as you create an powerful birth control plan (and continuously keep on with it), you ought to cope with to attend to have toddlers. i does no longer count completely on condoms to maintain away from being pregnant nonetheless. Condoms can damage and their effectiveness price is lower than birth control pills. in case you employ a condom and it breaks, you ought to take Plan B once available to chop back your risk of being pregnant. ultimately, in the adventure that your non secular beliefs require you to apply organic kin planning methods of birth control you probable shouldn't cope with to attend 4-5 years to have toddlers. those methods are a lot less powerful because you ought to attempt to envision which days you're fertile and then abstain. Our acquaintances who used this technique were pregnant interior 14 months.

It is possible, but unlikely. There are couples that could do that, but they are very few and far between. I would be concerned he is using this as a way to get her to do something she probably shouldn't be doing, especially if he is older than she is.

Trying to use logic with a chick?
You've got to be kidding
Chicks run off "chemistry" and that flows from evolutionary survival that most in here could never understand anyways - even if I've explained it to them

Those plans could happen but it is doubtful. People and things change too much over the years.
