Now that I think about it, how do oxymorons make any sense? A controlled chaos? How is chaos controlled anyway? It's not, that's why it's called CHAOS.
Does anyone agree with me?

it makes sense in some contexts. People who have messy offices/houses but know where everything is within the mess have controlled chaos. My man Steve Nash leads the run-and-gun Phoenix Suns with controlled chaos. The concept exists in that something that appears chaotic can be controlled. Semantically though, you're right, chaos by definition is something that can't be controlled.

The real point in this is that we use words too often as if they actually have value in the physical world, but they're really just petty little symbols we use to make sense of things.

Chaos is what things seem to be when they are trying to balance eachother out. For example, global warming/ice age is kind of a cycle for the earth. They may seem chaotic at times, but they are some ways that the earth balances itself out. Even though it is not true chaos because it is controlled, there is no true chaos anyway (in the physical world at least). The only true chaos that I can think of is the chaos within a mind that has closed itelf against any last ray of hope for itself. There is no control for it, and therefore it is chaotic. (did I just completely dodge that question?)

If you ever worked in a busy restaurant, you would understand the term.
Its an oxymoron so it contradicts itself and that is the nature of oxymorons.

Very contradictory, yes, now that I think about it!
Controlled chaos -- that could get pretty ugly - same as with tight slacks and loose tights
