I was homeless for over 3 years. I now know that most people can not differentiate between what a person has and what a person is. Many people stereotyped me thinking i was insane, incompetent or some other form of helpless or hopeless. If they had been correct i would not be in my apartment typing this to you on my wife's computer. I learned that God was not lying when he told me he cares about me even more than the birds and that i would survive. I learned that as long as i don't give up i win and that whatever does not kill me makes me stronger. I learned that people matter and things do not. I learned that i am a good man. I learned to love all of humanity. Peace be with you

My wedding taught me a lot of lessons, but none of the ones listed above.

Probably the biggest lesson I learned was to just let it go!

My wedding started almost an hour late because the flowers didn't arrive on time. What could I do about it? I had to just breathe and go with the flow.

This thew the entire wedding schedule off, and we ended up losing almost all our light that we needed for our pictures that were taken outside. . . . so on and so forth :(

Patience. That's what I learned! And that even if something isn't exactly the way I planned it, it's still a pretty awesome thing :0)

when I was young, I touched a hot stove. I learned the truth about touching a hot stove. I still have a small burn mark to prove it...

i learned how evil people can be...when some guys murdered my Uncle Charles for money he had in his pocket.
