Your question is very funny. What does it have to do with dogs? Really. Why do you hang out with humans who pass gases? Are you doing research on gas?
Diet has a lot to do with it. The fact that your gas smells like pretty flowers is a good thing. That's mean you have a clean gut and your diet is rich in fresh fruits and veggies. I hope I am right. Or you are simply blessed with a good gut. Sooner or later, everyone will pass a smelly gas. We have no control over it and that's the way it is. We are humans, remember?
By the way, we are discussing dogs in this section.

After 12 years of smelling your own, you kinda ignore it.
Sometimes bad gas is just a gut infection that goes on for decades. Ask your doctor, he may prescribe an intestinal antibiotic and cure you.
Another cause is a high fiber diet such as fruit and veg. The celulose is not digestible and causes gas.

There are 2 kinds of gas.
One is just air you have swallowed, probably while eating and drinking. It passes through your gut and out the other end. It's just air.
The other is gas created by lack of digestive enzymes for certain foods, or imbalance in intestinal flora. This gas can smell bad.
