God is too many things to mention in such a small space, but mainly God is love (1 John 4:16), but what is love? Love is described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 and 1 John 3:11-20. May the Lord bless you. Alan www.thehealingbook.com

Well, in the New Testament we are encouraged to emulate Christ and live according to the Spirit. And in Galations the Fruits of the Spirit are listed as Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self Control.
So I like to regard those as the qualities of God.
On the other hand, the Old Testament depiction of God involves a lot of smiting and plagues and things like that - Hmmm.

I am not sure if there is a single scripture that lists them but in bible study I always used His love, wisdom, mercy, power and justice. For scriptural reference I use the following scriptures
Deuteronomy 32:4
He is the Rock, his works are perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God who does no wrong,
upright and just is he.
Job 12:13
13 "To God belong wisdom and power;
counsel and understanding are his.
Psalm 147:5
5 Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
his understanding has no limit.
1 John 4:8
8Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
I also look at the fruitage of the spirit at Galatians 5:22, 23
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Also I think of the qualities we as his numan creation have since we are created in his image. Granted we are imperfect representations of our God but we still reflect His qualities. Even things we consider negative qualities such as anger and jealousy are used in the bible in reference to God.
2 Corinthians 11:2 2I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him.
Zechariah 10:3 3 "My anger burns against the shepherds,
and I will punish the leaders;
for the LORD Almighty will care
for his flock, the house of Judah,
and make them like a proud horse in battle.
I try to look at each passage and see what it tells me about a quality of God to help me grow in my personal relationship with Him.

According to the literal Bible translation into English, God is NOT three but One. Jesus is his SON and is, cannot be stated more clearly, NOT ONE, THE SAME AS, or SOME HUMAN FORM of God.
The trinitarian dogma came strictly from the imposed views of the Catholics. But they stole it from the Hindus.
According to the HEBREW UNTRANSLATED BIBLE. i.e. the orginal Bible in the original language, The word God is not used for something that resembles anything human but rather a great spirit of the universe (best way to translate it).
God was given human form and qualities by the Romans to make transistion from their pagan gods to the monotheolistic God of Abraham easier.
