Yes abortion in my opinion is murder but I would hesitate to vote for anyone strictly on that criteria alone. What else does he stand for? Maybe he also stands for allowing porn on the net or perhaps he thinks money can buy happiness or whatever.

We can do much to encourage our government leaders to vote one way or another on any given issue by letting them know how we feel. Even the guy who might be pro choice may vote the other way if he knows his chances of re-election depend on it. Although I am not a big fan of the so called moral-majority movement, I am a believer in the power of the people to help govern themselves and I also believe that people usually get the kind of government that they deserve. I just read the answer from someone else and would like to add this...yes, abortion is legally not murder today but God made the first law and it is his that believers must follow...not mans.

I will vote pro-life. For those who think the death penalty is the same as abortion - think again. Death penalty is for a convicted murderer etc- someone who did a crime. What crime did that baby commit? Abortion has become something that is acceptable- I think about my birth mom everyday- if she had chosen to abort me I would not be here, and I would not have been given the chance to live and marry and adopt 2 children myself- who also could have been aborted.

You are correct. Abortion is murder. Abortion advocates claim that an unborn baby, which is called a fetus, is not a person. This is a ridiculous assertion. It is alive. It isn't a raccoon. It isn't a giraffe. It is obviously human.

I do vote for pro-life candidates. My choice for president is Ron Paul, a Congressman from Texas. Ron Paul is a medical doctor. He is pro-life. He is also concerned about illegal immigration.

Dr. Paul is an advocate for a return to the gold-backed dollar, and a strong believer in the Second Amendment. He is my choice.

The best way to be pro-life in terms of ending women choosing abortion would be to remove the economic pressures on working class women especially single mothers. Women usually choose abortion because of a fear that they can not support the child. Reproduction should not be a class privilege but instead a basic human right. Also pro-life should mean opposition to the death penalty and wars of aggression , like Bush's invasion of Iraq. I think we should vote for the pro-labor and anti-war candidates if we expect to solve these problems. Peace be with you all.

Do something. Adopt an unwanted child. Become a foster parent. Its what I plan on doing.

Instead of throwing eggs at the teen girl who is going to have an abortion at the clinic, why not seek out and council teen girls before it happens..there are alot of kids getting pregnant because they have no guidance.

I agree with you. Abortion is MURDER! With me being a Pastor, I tell Christians, that we should vote for Republicans, because they are pro life.

Why don't you tell your Christian friends to stop being so selfish and having their own kids. If we had enough families to raise all the underpriviliged children in the world, there would be roughly ZERO abortions in this country.
With your plan of changing the law, there would be thousands upon thousands of back-alley abortions, "accidental" traumas etc.
OWNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am pro-abortion. i think if the fetus doesnt think, communicate, or have ideas in it's head, it might as well be fungus.
oh, and i hate oh people argue "well what if the kid grew up to be the president?"
because if the mother wants 2 get rid of the baby, its not going to have the support it needs to become president

I vote pro-life...the Bible says He knew us at conception, so aborting a baby/fetus would be murder.

Is it though? I don't know about that. An unborn embryo is simply a conglomeration of about one-hundred-fifty little cells. If aborting it should be considered murder, I pray you never have to scratch your nose again; you'd be committing mass genocide.
