yes i've water fasted, lots, usually any more than 7 days is way to much and it get sunhealthy and you should drink at leats 15 glasses of water a day while fasting becuase after about 8 you'll still be getting dehydrated. just dont excercise and take tylenol for headaches int he morning and int he afternoon, even if you dont have a headache you will get one so take it anyways sinc eyou'll have school.
just be prepared ot feel really light headed and dizzy at times, dont get up too quickly from sitting down.
you lose about 3-4 lbs the first day and 1-2 lbs everday after that.
good luck, i hope you lose the weight you want to lose!

I did a semi-fast on liquids. Try it on the weekend, when you have time to relax. You won't lose permanent weight on a fast -- what you will do is give your digestive organs a little break, and get rid of toxins. You need to relax and pamper yourself while this works, and sometimes fasting can bring up emotional problems. You want to be in a quiet place so you can deal with that.
You should never try and fast more than 48 hours unless you have supervision -- preferrably a doctor. I would try it for just 24 hours the first time, and see how your body handles it.

A water fast is great but you shouldn't over do it on the water ever. Drink a maximum of ten glasses a day.
Not eating isn't going to make you go to the bathroom much more often then usual, what will make you go to the bathroom more often is being dehydrated and then suddenly drinking a lot of water in a short period of time.
A few days before your fast start making sure that you drink 8 glasses of water a day and if you drink coffee or alcohol even more then that.

First, why are you fasting? Is it for spiritual/religious reasons, cleansing/detoxifying, or weight lose? If it's to lose weight, it won't work in the long run. Your body will go into starvation mode and start turning everything it can into fat. I have fasted for religious purposes; just drank liquids for 6 days once. I have also fasted 3 days at a time on several other occasions. I did a "hard" fast, no food, or drink, of any kind, once during a family crisis, for 3 days. You probably won't be running to the bathroom all the time, I did not have too. Please clarify why you are fasting. Thanks.

Not a good idea to fast without consulting a doctor. You might discover you have a condition of which you are not now aware - after they pick you up off the floor.
Trying to lose weight? Best way, trust me, is to see a doctor, determine how many calories you should eat per day, eat healthy foods - just watch amounts. Measure if you have to until you get used to recognizing how much is enough.
The only time I have fasted is to prepare for a blood test or to take Communion. I have low blood sugar so I get light-headed. Not fun.
Don't water fast without consulting a doctor - please.

Fasting causes you to go to the bathroom less. See this site with quotes from 17 MDs about how good fasting is for you.

There is no need to fast that drastically. Just eat sensibly and exercise regularly. When eating foods, use a small plate instead of a large plate. This is to trick your brains into thinking you've had enough.

When you fast it means giving something up it can be anything not just food. I gave up TV for a whole month, and boy did it kill me. I tried fasting with certain foods but it didn't work. Anyway Good Luck!

First few days will have you peeing a lot. Best to start it on the weekend to regulate your body to it. Is it a religious thing or a diet thing? If it's a diet thing drink a little orange juice too, will help to prevent shakes.
