Your question holds God to human boundries of perception, a place I do not believe He can be defined.
I do believe that humans have freewill and that freewill is the purpose of humanity.
As to if God interfered in the Bible, that is up to the psychie and understanding of Biblical man and how he percieved his world and how he percieved God's involvement.
The Bible is not necessarily fiction, but at the same time is an account of explaining things to the Biblical man's understanding. Much as the Greeks, Roman's, Hundi, and all other people's of religion did.
The Bible is best viewed as an ancient tome of history and myth of the Iseralite peoples that still rings true for a majority today.

When the Bible says that we are made in the image of God, it means that we know right from wrong. God gave us His moral law, He wrote it into our hearts.
He gave us our free will. He loves us and we can choose to love Him back and accept Him as Savior or we can deny Him.
God is not responsible for all the bad things. God allows a lot of pain and suffering for His purposes but when you look at the big picture, His promises are kind. He has the whole eternity to make it up to us.: )
God is God no matter what we think of Him. He rules over life and death. I believe that the Bible is true. Jesus is a real character in the history even outside of the Bible. He confirmed the Old Testament, and promised the New Testament. : )

Oh yes, we have free will, but some people believe that it's a desirable thing, even a gift, and others believe that it's not desirable at all. And no, we won't come to an agreement on whether that will includes the ability to look to God for salvation or not.
I beg to differ with your "else" statement of God being the author of evil if he is omniscient. Man is the one that sinned, not God. And this after a full capability to do God's will. Man deserves hell, we are not innocent. So if, in our coveted free will, bad things happen to us, do we deserve any different?

God gave us the free will to believe in him or not to, your exercising that free will right now with this question, and your belief that he doesn't exist. Yes God dose as he pleases because he is the beginning and the end their is no one greater than the Great I AM. As for the fairy tail you must have some kind of idea that he dose exist because you even deny Him, so how can you deny his existence if you don't believe in him? As for the bad things we humans created them, were the evil ones with intent to harm point the finger at or blame one another. God only inter fears with us so we dont completely inilate one another

An historic question, yet a sturdy one! here is my 2 cents' truly worth: although there are useful and interestingly persuasive arguments for determinism*, it might take an especially convincing argument to outweigh the known human instinct - and journey - that we are able to and do go with our movements. Why might desire to the only subject that we are able to notice immediately, the state of our very own minds,** be an phantasm? If we are arranged to have self belief interior the certainty of exterior gadgets and different minds***, it truly is going to be nonetheless greater obtrusive to have self belief interior the certainty of one's very own understanding. How approximately this: what might or no longer it truly is like, if one truly believed one did no longer have unfastened will, to act as though one believed that? it truly is psychologically impossible. A greater state-of-the-artwork answer might might desire to initiate with diagnosis of the concept-approximately unfastened will itself, yet for the present purpose i'm going to stay in the English academic custom of often occurring-language philosophy and bypass away the diagnosis to the postgraduate classification. shop on questioning, Sam! *Sorry, can no longer bypass into info with out making this answer an unreasonably long one. seek for "determinism" and "unfastened will" on Wikipedia, or in a sturdy encyclopedia. **by using fact the priority being suggested is likewise the priority doing the watching. ***And if we are no longer, there's no longer something for us to chat approximately.

First, if you read the bible itself you would be able to find many more of the answers that you are looking for.
Free will excists. The Lord does not interfere, He rules. You may ask, then why do so many evil things occur today? God does not rest. He WILL interfere against evil plots, and unjustice. Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, here I am. Isaiah 58:9
The bible clearly states that if we seek Him, he will answer, and he will take care of our problems. The Lord will not make us do anything.
Another for you,
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.
Revelations 3:20
The devil destroys our lives. Those who are not saved are in chains of sin and wickedness, just like the story of scrooge, although it is less spiritual and more based on good works! But only through salvation may we truly change our evil ways. Satin causes all that is evil, yet God is the complete opposite, a much much higher power, and he will save those who suffer and want to be freed and given his gift of life, unconditional love. It's true, sometimes God get's upset with us, but he loves us far more than we can even imagine. It outways his anger by far, and he never ceases to love us! If it was showered on you all at one time it would be so overwhelming! Because God sends the Holy Spirit to guide us, we now know that evil is far from the Lord, and we accept his word by faith. His promises are true and last for all eternity, and never does he let us down!
He keeps his covenant with us.
Even as a christian I still have a free will to drift out, but I never would! I dont want to. He is my refuge, and complete source of all my needs. He does not control me, but I choose his will for my life, it is all my choice, and I surrender all. My fears, my worries, my frustration and anger, for his great understanding, wisdom, and through all my faults, he still looks at the better me.
The Lord is as clear as He ever was.
Day after day people choose to say no to the Lord. They would rather do what they want. You cannot say free will does not excist. Abortion is still here, suicide is higher than ever, murder, rape, and even in the smallest degree, the fact that you get to pick what kind of cereal you want each morning, if you will drive to work or ride your bike, if you go to church or if you will go out.
The Lord will not stand by and let his people suffer through the evil of this world. This is a spiritual war. Against good and evil.
I can assure you, that bible is the ultimate source of truth, no matter what your questions are, a good christian can always try to answer them for you, but take a good look for yourself.
I apologize if I affended you and I hope I did not appear arrogent, if so you have my sincere apology, but I could never be sorry for speaking the word!
God bless you, I hope I helped you.
Your friend

If you believe in the Bible or not you have feel will.
To ask questions about God is nature and also means you believe in some form. Free will does not mean free from consequences.

I didn't realize that this question was directed towards people that believe in the bible. I'm going to answer anyway though. The question was 'Do humans have free will?' My answer is yes. And also the bible is fiction... well, mostly.

We let are kids grow up and teach them about what would hurt them. WE intervine when we stop them from putting their hand on a hot surface, but if they keep doing it, we can't stop them because they have free will.
How often have you heard a parent say to a crying child, "I told you a hundred times not to touch that, or go near that, or not to play there."?
I guess it's the same thing when God intervines, but we still have free will and do what we want, even if we're warned not to.

People are given the right to make their own choices. You choose to follow Christ. God may interfere with humanity if you ask. for example, if you are sick and praying for an easy recovery, God might grant it to you. He did not choose something for you, he helped you.
