there may be traces or carbs if the butter is slightly sweet it may contain maybe 1/5 of a carb per serving. (i checked 5 different brands of butter in my fridge and 1 margarine, they all say 0g, 0% carbs, and yes i love butter) Its however consider a fat, and it is fattening.
