You are referring to the 70 weeks of years prophecy in Daniel 9:24, 25: “There are seventy weeks that have been determined upon your people and upon your holy city, in order to terminate the transgression, and to finish off sin, and to make atonement for error, and to bring in righteousness for times indefinite, and to imprint a seal upon vision and prophet, and to anoint the Holy of Holies. And you should know and have the insight that from the going forth of the word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Leader, there will be seven weeks, also sixty-two weeks. She will return and be actually rebuilt, with a public square and moat, but in the straits of the times."

This 70 weeks, or 490 years, was the time period between the issue to rebuild the city of Jerusalem and the appearance of Jesus Christ in 29 CE (year he began his ministry).

The second prophecy you are referring to is the "seven times" spoken of at Daniel 4:10-16. This prophecy concerns when Jesus would be installed as the King of God's heavenly kingdom, an event that took place in 1914.

As recorded at Luke 21:24, Jesus said: “Jerusalem will be trampled on by the nations, until the appointed times of the nations [“the times of the Gentiles,” King James Version] are fulfilled.” Jerusalem had been the capital city of the Jewish nation—the seat of rulership of the line of kings from the house of King David. (Psalm 48:1, 2) However, these kings were unique among national leaders. They sat on “Jehovah’s throne” as representatives of God himself. (1 Chronicles 29:23) Jerusalem was thus a symbol of Jehovah’s rulership.

How and when, though, did God’s rulership begin to be “trampled on by the nations”? This happened in 607 B.C.E. when Jerusalem was conquered by the Babylonians. “Jehovah’s throne” became vacant, and the line of kings who descended from David was interrupted. (2 Kings 25:1-26) Would this ‘trampling’ go on forever? No, for the prophecy of Ezekiel said regarding Jerusalem’s last king, Zedekiah: “Remove the turban, and lift off the crown. . . . It will certainly become no one’s until he comes who has the legal right, and I must give it to him.” (Ezekiel 21:26, 27) The one who has “the legal right” to the Davidic crown is Christ Jesus. (Luke 1:32, 33) So the ‘trampling’ would end when Jesus became King.

When would that grand event occur? Jesus showed that the Gentiles would rule for a fixed period of time. The account in Daniel chapter 4 holds the key to knowing how long that period would last. It relates a prophetic dream experienced by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. He saw an immense tree that was chopped down. Its stump could not grow because it was banded with iron and copper. An angel declared: “Let seven times pass over it.”—Daniel 4:10-16.

In the Bible, trees are sometimes used to represent rulership. (Ezekiel 17:22-24; 31:2-5) So the chopping down of the symbolic tree represents how God’s rulership, as expressed through the kings at Jerusalem, would be interrupted. However, the vision served notice that this ‘trampling of Jerusalem’ would be temporary—a period of “seven times.” How long a period is that?

Revelation 12:6, 14 indicates that three and a half times equal “a thousand two hundred and sixty days.” “Seven times” would therefore last twice as long, or 2,520 days. But the Gentile nations did not stop ‘trampling’ on God’s rulership a mere 2,520 days after Jerusalem’s fall. Evidently, then, this prophecy covers a much longer period of time. On the basis of Numbers 14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6, which speak of “a day for a year,” the “seven times” would cover 2,520 years.

The 2,520 years began in October 607 B.C.E., when Jerusalem fell to the Babylonians and the Davidic king was taken off his throne. The period ended in October 1914. At that time, “the appointed times of the nations” ended, and Jesus Christ was installed as God’s heavenly King.—Psalm 2:1-6; Daniel 7:13, 14.

Just as Jesus predicted, his “presence” as heavenly King has been marked by dramatic world developments—war, famine, earthquakes, pestilences. (Matthew 24:3-8; Luke 21:11) Such developments bear powerful testimony to the fact that 1914 indeed marked the birth of God’s heavenly Kingdom and the beginning of “the last days” of this present wicked system of things.—2 Timothy 3:1-5.

Ok, you're going to be fine. Why you might ask? Well, it's simple, there have been famines, hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, disease, plagues, and all other possible natural disasters throughout the history of this little rock we live on. That's why we call them "natural" disasters. Because if you live here for more than a day or two, something bad will naturally occur, somewhere. These "natural" occurences predate the birth of Jesus the first, and will predate Jesus II, III, and IV. Futhermore, they will occur long after all the subsequent Jesus's have come and gone. The earth will continue to float around the sun when humans have gone, until finally the sun will expand outward, cook the earth and anything that happens to still be residing on it, and engulf it, which will means game over for earth. By then you will have been dead for BILLIONS of years. In short, you will NEVER have to worry about the world ending. Preachers, and Zealots have been spewing this crap for centuries, CENTURIES!!! They do this because people are motivated by fear, and by threatening their safety the preacher can motivate the easily lead into submission. Honestly, it's fear and nothing else. It's a good question though you bring up, what kind of a vicious god would send pain, suffering, and destruction upon his own creations, and upon the people he created in his own image, and holds above all other creations? Great question, and not easily answerable.

God's Preview of History {Daniel 2}

The Prophecy of this chapter spans the centuries from Daniel to the return of Jesus. It is considered to be the most remarkable prophecy in the Bible because it is the most comprehensive and was the first to give a consecutive history of the world from Daniel's time to the end. This chapter opens by picturing the ruler of the greatest of earthly kingdoms in his own home on his bed asleep. "In the second year of reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams." Daniel 2:1, first part.

I have a Blog about it

Daniel was not able to give an exact date of Jesus' birth, only after the wall was rebuilt. The Bible says only God knows the date and time of Jesus return - not even the angels know. We just need to be ready for it.

It is Daniel and it tells of a number of days from the time Israel became a nation, if you do the math it puts it about 1981 -2007 as the season to start looking for the signs depending on when you say Israel became a nation, it happened it 1948 but the city was totally under Jewish control until the 67 war, so watch men watch. its coming up!

Well, that's true, the end times is an hour unknown to anyone. There are people claiming to know the date or saying that God himself revealed it to them. That's not true at all, and by the way, everyone of these so called "prophets" that predicted the end times failed as the date passed and nothing happened, deceiving a lot of people. This hurts the cause of Christ.

The prophecy that danni_d21 mentioned is correct and probably the one you were looking for but I wanted to add that this marks the beginning of the end times and shouldn't be confused with the day of judgment when Armageddon will come...that is what is referred to when it says that "no one knows the day" They are two different things.

I hope this answers your question its in 1 Thessalonians 5:1-5

Now as for the times and the seasons, brothers, you need nothing to be written to you. For you yourselves know quite well that Jehovah's day is coming exactly as a theif in the night. Whenever it is that they are saying: "peace and security!" then suddenly destruction is to be instantly upon them just as the pain and destress comes upon a pregnant woman; and they will be by no means escape. But you brothers, you are not in darkness, so that day should overtake you as it would theives, for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We belong neither to night nor to darkness.

When they say peace and security as a whole(Worldly) this is around the time when His second coming should be expected. This means also that just as fast as the pain of a pregnant woman come to her so shall this destruction of the world.

Matthew 24:36
"Concerning that day and hour nobody knows. neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the father. For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be."

I hope any of this will answer your question and God bless.

Revaluations talks about the return of Jesus. It also talks about the signs. However we have no true way of knowing when, if or how he will arrive. Also how each person understands the bible is different, therefore you will get a different answer from everyone.

I am not aware of any such prophecy. I have to accept what Jesus said about the time. We will not know.
