Depends on what you want to do with the boot disk.

Normally it is used to repair a non-working XP install, or to format the hard drive and to reinstall Windows XP.

Place the CD in the CD drive and reboot the computer. It should automatically start the Windows XP set up.

If not, go into your computer BIOS set up and look for a "Boot Order" setting. Change it so that the CD drive is the first device in the boot order.

when you turn on your computer go to setup when the task bar is moving and go to boot and go down to cd drive and make it your first boot up device and then save changes and put your disk in and it will run disk..
