what a complete and total jerk earnhardt sr. was? Both on and off the track he was a miserable, sorry SOB. He bump drafted families driving on the freeways, and he died trying to spinout another driver for the 1000th time. Junior is twice the man his old man was and that still ain't saying much. Sure Gordon is a whiner but don't trash him for it while praising the dirtiest driver ever in the same breath.

If Jr. was twice the man his old man was then he would have like 14 titles and 152 wins.
Dale Sr. was dirty at times, (Bristol, Terry Labonte) but he got away with it because of his popularity. Gordon is nowhere near as "dirty" as Earnhardt, as witnessed last week at Martinsville where he could of pulled an Earnhardt and pulled out a win.
(And this is by no means a knock on Dale Sr.)

I agree with you 100% ,all driver's complain.The reason people dislike Gordon is because he is one the best driver's in the history of NASCAR,sure Dale Sr. had 7 cup titles and Richard Petty,but do think they could of won that many titles with the qaulity of drivers out there now,I don't think so.

I didn't realize there was so many Sr. haters out there. I lost all respect for Gordon when he named his pit crew the rainbow warriors. There is no place in racing for that. Gordon would be nothing with out Johnson to push him along all the time. Johnson got tried of being the back bit** and now he is plowing Gordon out of the water. HA HA. Not to get off subject but the Earnhardt rule. Sr. may have been aggressive driver but hes got the wins to show for it.
