Traditional high school isn't working for me, yet I would still like to receive my High School Diploma. I am looking for resources on laws, options, info, etc. on online, home, and unschooling. I would also like any general other options and pointers. I currently live in Iowa and am in 10th grade, if this effects anything.
Thanks :)

Well, in the state of NY you have to be 16 before you can drop out, AND your parents have to agree to allow that because you're not legal age.

High School sucks - if these are "the best years of your life", you're not one of the lucky ones. All those people that were just so great in high school are now pumping gas, fat, and or knocked up. Hang in there, your friends are there, it won't take much longer. And a high school degree is alot easier to get than a GED, and once you're out, it'll be hard on you to whip your brain back into shape.
Write me privately, and tell me what's really on your mind. It doesn't sound like it's your education. I've been through high school, college, trade schools, and some private studies. If you want more from your life, I can help you.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but evolution *is* a proven fact. Many schools (including my son's here in "liberal" California) offer students and parents an "opt out" for the biology units on evolution. The teacher will give them some other work and have them do it in the library while the rational people study the fact of evolution. But I have to ask: if you're so convinced that it's all unproven and fake, then why are you so afraid of it? If you're right, shouldn't you be able to logically prove your point and easily show your kids why it's so silly? Wouldn't classroom time spent on evolution just make it easier for you to demolish it, since then your kids would know all its flaws? Hmm... Peace.

Please, I strongly urge you not to drop out... 2 years will fly by really FAST, and in no time you'll graduate, just hang in there...

If this isn't an option for you, then you could try attending an Adults High School Diploma Course, Continuing Education (CE), or nightschool, summerschool, etc.
