My doctor just prescribed it today, because I had pre-seizure activity. I did not have one, but I used to have them. I just worry about all of the side effects. I used to take phenobarbitol.

Its an anti-seizure medication that is also used for treating nerve pain.
It made me break out in a rash and I was in a medication fog the whole time I was on it.
I took it for nerve pain.

Tegretol is an Anti-seizure medications that helps control seizures. Your Doctor needs to per-scribe this medication and check your tegretol level in the blood. Another medication that control seizures is Dilantin.
