Has anyone ever been excommunicated from the church not because they sinned but because they couldn't sing?

I was excommunicated because I said the Jesus is the way to heaven... Funny too because they call themselves the Church of Jesus Christ. I guess if you excommunicate a person for believing in Him that really shouldn't be the name of your church.... Jim

Excommunication is a man made doctrine. The guide lines for removing someone from the Church is listed in Scripture. Mat 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
Mat 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
Mat 18:17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

Anyone kicked out of a Church for not singing well is much better off not being part of that denomination. Sounds like a club instead of a place of worship.Find you a Church in which God attends.He won't mind your singing at all.

I'm sure it MUST have happened at LEAST once!
Sister St. Cecelia had no use for me in grade school, as I recall, because I was terrible in singing and in playing the piano.

excommunication is a blessing..... now they can't brow beat you with their BS..... you live happier freer lives....
