I hate to say this but girls like to prank people. She could just be mean and messing around.
BUT, the good news that she could really like you. Your friends could just be jealous. So call her and be cool...ask her about her day and see what happens! You should be able to get a good idea after a few minutes of conversation.

Why would she call you if she didn't like you? She may just be feeling shy in front of your friends and saying she doesn't like you because she's not sure how you feel about her.
Give her a call and ask her out. Then you'll both know where you're at, and then the real fun can start.

You're a kid. She likes you but doesn't have the courage to express herself for fear of getting hurt. If you like her, then tell her so. If not, be kind and let her know you'd still like to be her friend. Rely on your own intuition, not the half-baked ideas of others.

that seems weird. i think you should ask her about it. a good relationship requires honesty and trust. you need to be open to eachother and tell eachother if somethings bothering you...and 99% of the time rumors are sooo not true and they rip things apart when nothing was wrong in the first place.

Don't trust your friends. Just call her and ask her yourself.. to be sure. Just call and say Hi how ya doin?! What'cha doin etc.. then ask her if she really likes you or just playing.. cause you cant mess with my heart.

You should tell her that you like her and ask her if she likes you back. She'll be a lot more willing to admit if she has feelings for you if she knows you like her.

maybe she was just being friendly, if you like her then you better wait until you two become better friends to say you like her or to ask her out, unless you want to freak her out and make her withdraw. dont go too fast, take it slow and steady, dont do anything hasty
