What would happen if Jesus returned?

I've been reading some pretty interesting stuff about Jesus and the Second Coming. Many people have said that the event will occur very soon, though that should be taken with a grain of salt. However, if it did occur, what do you think would happen?

I think that he would be killed just like he was the last time.

Religion is the polar opposite of what he taught so he would be seen as the anti Christ and killed.

When Jesus Christ comes to take all the Christians to Heaven, this is called the Rapture, but He does not come to earth. When He comes again (the 2nd coming) He will actually set foot on earth. When the rapture occurs, all those that have not accepted Christ as their Savior, will be left behind, and so begins the 7 year Tribulation period. When the Second Coming takes place, there will be many battles and such, and when all is said and done, comes the Judgments. After that, it's either Heaven or Hell for everyone. And I believe that we are close.The Bible mentions several things to look for concerning the Rapture. Jesus' disciples inquired of Him, and He replied with this, "When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be afraid for these things must take place, but the end will not come immediately. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines, and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from Heaven." I think we are experiencing these things already.

or read the book, entitled: "An Inconvenient Truth",

and all of the forces of nature with its four winds unleashed, and storms and hail and ice, etc. will all be used to acheive what they call the war that will end all wars...

If you insist on knowing how it will all be done and why,
why don't you read it for yourself?

If Jesus returned he would most probably be sectioned and end up in a government funded mental health facility where he would be given regular injections for his delusions and have many psychologists and psychatrists analysing him and trying to help diagnose him. Over the centuries many people even people on Yahoo ahve said that they are jesus and have been locked up in different types of facilities in reflection to the times.

So lets imagine a long haired many walks up to your door and says 'I am Jesus and I have come to show you the light". What is going to be your reaction? Shut the door and ring the police?

If he came back with a grand entrance (which would save from doubters...mostly) Some people would be proved wrong and others right(and I would hope that those people would not get cocky and say "I told you so") ... and some would probably change their beliefs.

However if someone just popped up and said "I am Jesus" then he may be thrown into a mental institute or laughed at... again unless he somehow proved it... which if he returns will most likely be the case!

Actually, all wickedness is going to be destroyed and removed from the earth to open the way for God's new system of things in which righteousness is to dwell. Jesus and his associate kings are going to bring all back to perfection, then those in God's memory will be resurrected back to life, all illnesses and problems will be removed, everyone will live in peace, even between animals and man, the lame will be made to walk, the deaf to hear, the mute to speak, all infirmities to be healed, and we will grow young again back to the age set as a standard by God, it will be wonderful, there will be plenty of food and everyone will have their own land and home without owing anyone else. It's all foretold in the Scriptures.
