does any1 know what trains to take from Penn Station to Yankee Stadium?

Take the uptown B or the D to 161st Street (the B does not run on weekends)

you can do one of the following:

1. take the 2 train at penn station uptown to 149th St and Grand Concourse. Go up the stairs and take the uptown 4 train one stop to 161st street and Yankee stadium.

2. take either the 1, 2, or 3 train one stop to times square. Transfer to the shuttle train to Grand Central. Then take the uptown 4 train to 161st street.

Shortest route from within Penn STATION:
from the 7th av side
#2 train to 149th st.(mott Haven) go upstairs for the uptown#4 1 stop to 161st st Yankee stadium

Or from the 8th av side: uptown A train 2 stops to 59th st. wait for D or B(D is express) uptown to 161st.
Both Routes drop u off in the SAME PLACE, so it's a matter of where in Penn your closest to.

you can take the a,c to 59th to get the d or you can take the e to 7th avenue then transfer to the d. either way you want to get the d to 161st street
