Rye bread, four slices of Swiss cheese, coat the outer sides with mayo and grill, no butter needed the oil in the mayo takes care of that. Try it with regular Bread and Cheddar

Start with fresh bread. Put one slice Kraft thick sliced cheese, then shaved honey ham, a few slivers of finely shaved onion, then another slice of cheese. Don't grease the pan but generously butter each slice of bread with real butter. Fry on medium heat until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown. Cut in half and dip in Bulls Eye BBQ sauce with a side of bread and butter pickles. Mmmmm, good! Some may argue it has to be "real cheese" and in every other case I would agree. However I go with processed cheese on this one!

With 2 slices of sour dough bread, butter/margarine on one side. 2 slices of cheese: American, cheddar, Swiss, or whichever kind you like~I personally like cheddar & Swiss. Lay one slice of bread; butter side down in a pre-heated skillet, add the cheese, then I like to put jalapeno slices on top of cheese & top with other slice of bread; buttered side up. When bottom slice is brown & cheese is partially melted, flip to brown the other side. You could do tomato, onion, bell pepper or mushroom slices instead of jalapeno, if you don't care for the spicy/hot flavor. Sometimes I add garlic powder to the butter. It's all yummy!!

I use the "thicker" kind of wonder bread. I butter the outsides of the bread, add 2 slices of American Cheese, Bacon, and Jalapeño slices. Sometimes I'll put a Tiny dab of Hickory BBQ sauce in it too and it tastes awesome.

I cook mine with sourdough bread.
Butter it on one side of each slice, and put mayonaise on the other side where the filling will be.
Add your cheese-I use swiss and Cheddar.
Add some shaved ham , and a tomatoe (salted and peppered).
Cook until cheese is melted and tomatoe is warm.
