So therefore you should submit to your authority... yes?

Sabbath is a day of rest, Jesus Christ was dead on the Sabbath

Sunday is the day of His resurrection so it makes sense why Christians want to worship on the day of His Resurrection.

Read the Bible let the Spirit of God speak to your heart and pray. God will reveal to you the right answer and what you should do.

But I would suggest you obey your parents because it is the first law that is associated with a promise of happiness and long life. I believe it's simple but not necessarily easy if you don't know the truth from the Bible to set you free

One last point - going to Church is not about you, it's about God and it's about others. It is rather selfish to not attend Church and worship God with your fellow Christian believers. Some of them need your encouragement, other's your mere presence is enough, you just never know who God wants you to speak to in the congregation and you are not there.

Doesn't the Bible say: you cannot say you love God and you hate your brother. For how can you say I love God whom you cannot see and hate your brother whom you can see? If you love your brothers and sisters in Christ you would want to be with them. I mean it only seems logical. The Psalms say I would rather a day in your House Lord than a thousand in another place

Here is my point. There is No verse in the Bible that directs us specifically to keep Sunday holy. But there are literally thousands of texts which state that the 7th day (Saturday) is the Sabbath and that Jesus himself observed it. Therefore, using a logic similar to Pascal's wager, we can state the following:

If you keep the Saturday Sabbath in accordance with the 4th Commandment, You know for sure that you are not making a mistake. In other words, there is no bible text that PROHIBITS you from keeping the Sabbath. Hence the worse that can happen to you by keeping the seventh day Sabbath (Saturday) is that you don't lose anything. However, if the true Sabbath is Saturday and you don't keep it, you have everything to lose because you may be guilty of breaking one of God's ten commandments!! So why do you want to take that risk?

Nothing - the Mosiac Law was a covenant arrangement between Jehovah God and the ancient nation of Israel.(Deut.5:12-15;Ex.31:13). SOME religious organizations hold that the Mosaic Law was in two parts: the Decalogue, or “moral law”, and the “ceremonial law”. They claim that the Decalogue is still binding whereas the “ceremonial law” passed away with Messiah’s coming. Much is made of this division, particularly by such sects as hold that the Christian’s sabbath is the seventh day of the week and that a literal observance of it is imperative to salvation. When scriptures are quoted showing that Christ made an end to the law these reply that such texts apply only to the “ceremonial law”. Jesus in the sermon on the mount did not indicate any such division. He interspersed references to the Decalogue between references to other parts of the Mosaic law, such as the matter of bringing gifts to the altar, of granting a divorce, of an “eye for an eye”, and loving one’s neighbor as oneself. Compare Matthew 5:21, 23, 24, 27, 31, 33, 38, 43 with Exodus 20:13; Deuteronomy 16:16, 17; Exodus 20:14; Deuteronomy 24:1; Leviticus 19:12; Deuteronomy 19:21; and Leviticus 19:18. It was therefore regarding the entire law arrangement that Jesus said: “Do not think I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I came, not to destroy, but to fulfill; for truly I say to you that sooner would heaven and earth pass away than for the smallest letter or one particle of a letter to pass away from the Law by any means and not all things take place.” (Matt. 5:17, 18, NW) Jesus thereby showed that the law consisted of prophetic pictures which were certain of fulfillment, and when the fulfillment came the pictures were done away with. For instance, the Israelites were obligated to observe the passover annually. But when Christ, the real passover Lamb, was sacrificed the requirement to observe the typical passover passed away. (Ex. 12:14; 1 Cor. 5:7, 8) Annually also the high priest entered into the holy of holies in the temple on the tenth day of the seventh month with the blood of atonement. But after Christ Jesus entered the holy of the holies of the heavens with the merit of his own blood, animal sacrifices had no further value.—Lev. 16:14; Heb. 9:11-14; 10:1.

It doesn`t matter if your Sabbath is Saturday or Sunday.Jesus said that man wasn`t made for the Sabbath but the Sabbath for man.In other words its a day of rest and a day to put aside all your work and worship God.But even Jesus pulled corn on the Sabbath. He said anyone who had an ox in the ditch on the Sabbath day wouldn`t leave it there until the next day but would work to get it out. It`s not a sin to work if that's what you have to do.

The Sabbath was ordered for the Jews by God. Once Jesus came and died for our sins that was fulfilled. Christians typically meet on Sunday because after Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead, he met with his disciples on the seventh day of the week which was a Sunday. You should have a relationship with the Lord each day of the week. None is more important than the next.

Yes the christian sabbath day is saturday... it's funny you should ask they've been showing this great program about the ten commandments on TV lately, and it said that back when the Puritans first came to America, people were severely punished for doing even the slightest amount of work ie carrying anything, cooking, working... anything!

Saturday used to be the Sabbath day. In the old days, some people used to worship the Sun. They didn't want to lose Christinianity. So, they combined by making it the same day

A little history for you, the sabbath used to be on Saturday. It was changed to Sunday by Constantine to appease the largely pagan population who worshiped a sun god on that day (hence, SUNday), making a smoother conversion to Christianity.

Note many Will accept Paul's writings instead of Christ's own words. Christ was a Sabbath Keeper which is on the last day of the week not mans first day of the week. Paul set out to destroy the church I am not so sure he did not succeed.
