A friend use to make this dessert using crescents pressed in a pan, with cream cheese spread on them and then cherry pie filling. This is all I remember. Any one know of this recipe and any more details for it. Thanks

Oh Yah!
Fruit Pizza

Ingredients:
3 packages of crescent rolls pressed in the bottom of a sheet pan.
Bake this according to the directions on the packages of the rolls.
In a bowl mix together:
12 oz package cream cheese(softened)
3/4 cup sugar(Granulated)
3/4 teaspoon vanilla
Spread mixture over cooled crescent rolls.

Prep:
Next you can add the fruit on the top.
I usually do sliced strawberries, sliced kiwi(usually 2-3)
a can of pineapple tidbits drained saving the juice from the pineapple.
I will pat all my fruit with paper towels so that it does not have much liquid
to cause running, but it is not necessary to do it.
It does not matter which order you put the fruit on and
you can use other fruit, as long as one of them has a juice
you can use. With the juice that you saved from the pineapple(or what ever you use)
stir in 2 tablespoons corn starch.
Cook this on low -medium heat until the mixture starts to really thicken.
Remove from burner and let cool for a few second and then dribble over the top of the fruit.
I generally wait about 10 minutes and then cut it, cover it and refrigerate it.
