k..so my GF is really insecure because she just got out of her first long term relationship (1yr) and it ended because her BF cheated on her. We are seniors in high school...now we've been going out for 5 months and at the end of the month I have to go to Florida for a school competition. Now, I know she doesnt rly want me to go because she's scared I might cheat on her. I see where she is coming from..."it happened once, why wont it happen again"...im willing to spend my life proving that statement wrong...newaz now to the point...i went last yr and i know there is a prom for everyone going..n im just thinking of the part when they play the slow songs at the prom!!! last yr i just danced with some friends from my school that went...I sorta think my GF would get annoyed if I told her i danced with someone when i come back...is it appropriate to dance with someone from my school or someone else that is there??? or am i supposed to sit down n not dance during these times??

If she has a problem with you having fun than there is something wrong with that. Just don't do anything more than danceing and everything should be fine.

Dancing with someone is find but slow dancing is a big no-no.If a girl does talk you into a slow dance you might as well tell your girlfriend because it will get back to her it always does.It sounds like you really like this girl a lot and you don't want to take anry chances with hurting her.

You said you were willing to spend your life proving yourself to her. I think you should sit down during the slow songs because that would be a good start to proving it.

Dance! You are too young to have a relationship that is so serious. Exclusive dating is for those considering marriage. High school is for fun!

Dancing is dancing. It's definitely not considered cheating, but I can see why your girlfriend would get jealous. She's not going to be there, so you don't even have to mention it. What she doesn't know won't hurt her.

Have you're fancy little dance, and don't be afraid of anything. After all, you're in a different state, so it's not considered cheating!

what she doesnt know wont hurt her, as long as you can make sure word wont get back to her dance your heart out or talk to her about it..is that something that would really bother her, lastly if you have doubts (that your conscience) telling you NOO! dont do it

Go...enjoy yourself ....you know what is fun and what is cheating. Jealous or insecure partners aren't cool. Just do what you want.

as for ur girl worryin about u cheatin, i dunno how to help ya there, but dancin with people is perfectly fine, if shes annoyed about that she will get over it , or shes over protective, just show her she can trust u , tell her evrythin that happend while ur gone, call her just to say u love her and miss her and wish she was here, and all that good stuff
