Dogs are pets ..Prefer them as pets ..
Wolves are wild dogs untamed ..i prefer them in the wild .. each has a special place in my heart ..

both i've raised wolves and or dogs the last 25 years. wolves are good family pets the same as a dog they need alot of time

Wolves are dogs, but all dogs aren't wolves. Wolves are fascinating particularly when you study the family structure & hybrids are very, very interesting (having been around several) but can range from docile to very aggressive. "Dogs" as stated in your query contains such a broad spectrum of breeds as to be impossible to quantify per your question. Ask about a particular breed or @ least group (terrier, sporting, herding, etc., etc.)

I like dogs in general, but I think wolves are really cool because of their sly nature and the danger associated with their name.
