The god in the bible will burn you. However if there is a God, I think Jefferson put it best:

Both! The former, presently, indeed it does. Well, perhaps humanism rules, rebellion rules, hatred of God rules. The latter, I'm afraid so, if you don't turn to the Savior before its too late. I don't think Atheism rules. But I don't think you will burn either. I think that when you die, you will get exactly what you expect. Non-existence. The concept of hell as a place of eternal torment is false. If you choose to reject God, that is your choice. He doesn't want you to come to him out of fear. That would kind-of negate free will, wouldn't it?
