Right after I'm done curling my hair it looks really great, but in less then an hour it already falls back to my straight hair. Before I curl my hair I put on some leave-in conditioning cream to keep it smooth, then i curl it. After I curl it I spray hairspray. And that's all the products I use! I'm not sure what's weighing it down.. or do I need to put more spray, gel, or something...?

Plus, my hair's pretty thick, so how long should I keep the iron on my hair?

When you curl your hair, dont wash it right before. It is better to have your hair a little bit dirty. (I have no clue why but it helps) Also find a good long lasting hairspray. Also while your hair is on the curling iron, spray it with some hairspray and then immediatly release the curl. This is what I usually do before and after I curl my hair and my curls last for about 4 hours!!!!

Hope I helped!

Well, the first thing you could do is not wash your hair for a day, but if you're like me you probably hate doing that so don't wash it for at least a couple of hours. Slightly dirty hair holds better than clean hair.

I'm not sure about the leave in conditioner, but before you put the iron on your hair spray the iron with hairspray and then the curl immediatly after it comes off.

I'm not sure about how long to keep it on though. Hope that helped

my hair does the same thing! all the cream and hairspray is probably weighing it down. try not putting so much cream left in and while your hair is around the curling iron thats when i hair spray and then when you take it out it stays and then when you are all done do a final spray all over.

The conditioner is probably your problem. Use a good "strong hold" styling gel when your hair is wet. Make sure it is completely dry when you curl it and then let the curls cool completely before you comb it out. Letting the curls cool, "sets" the curl and will make it last longer. Finish off with some good holding spray...
hope this helps.

Pin up your hair in a pinned-up twist and when it's like that, spray it with Kerastase hair spray. It wouldn't seem like it but it woks a lot better than curling irons :)

I geuss you should just have layers, or do something else than just have curly hair for a change.
Go to your hair salon and see if they can curl it.

i would start by blow drying your hair upside down to give your hair the extra volume. don't use leave in conditioners, they weigh the hair down. use gel before you blow dry and scrunch your hair as your blowdrying.
