If its a lamp that i plug in the socket its fine but once i try to plug in my notebook or tv the power in my room goes out but there is still power in the house. Im thinking maybe the tv and notebook is taking too much power.

A regular TV and a notebook computer don't take enough power to blow a circuit.

Notebook computer = 60 watts
TV generally less than 200 watts

Either there is lots more stuff on that same circuit in a different room or you have a wiring problem.

Do you have fuses or circuit breakers?
If it is a GFCI circuit breaker, then perhaps you have a bad outlet that is tripping the breaker. Is there an extension cord involved when plugging in the notebook and TV? If so, perhaps that is damaged.

Just a few ideas. Please update your question with additional details.

You may have a loose wiring connection in the wall or a defective outlet. Either one can make a fire hazard which could destroy lives. Please have it checked by someone qualified asap! And PLEASE don't plug anything else up until you do.
