my father is mentally sick,what shall i do?

i really need help, it's a long story,read it here,

you may help me for the sake of humanity, not for gathering points.
if i found any other solution rather than yahoo answers i wouldn't have posted my problem here.

The best thing you can do is be there for him and do all you can to help him. I'm sure there is a support group in your area that can help you deal with your father's ailment as well. God bless you both. Also do some research on his illness so you can better understand it as well.

The link doesn't seem to work. If I am correctly understanding the situation from the title, I can tell you that there are things that you can do. If you feel that he's a danger to himself or others, take him to a hospital emergency room. Call ahead and let them know what's going on. They can put him on a 72 hour mental health hold, and from there, if he needs further help, they can get him into a program. If you suspect that he will be combative, call 911, and they can help you transport him. Otherwise, just make an appointment with a therapist. Good luck!

im really sorry about ure father, but stay calm i couldnt acess that page u said so u might wanna check that.anyway i know it cant be easy 4 u right now but just know that u and ure dad will get through it, take it one step at a time, have a goal, something to look forward 2.
