She says they are trying to spray her with water, indoors no less, she insists that they stop, and go outside. more pounding, Two boys, 10 and 8, they continue pounding, I go to door, open it, the 10 yr is holding a tub of half melted ice cream ready to pitch it. I bang the ice cream down, half a slap to head, and tell him to go, tell the other to go. What to do.

well, it sounds like you have already dealt with the situation. you have silenced the pounding, seperated the ice-cream from the naughty children thus saving the walls and upholstery.....
what more do you need to handle?

In the future, don't hit other people's kids, because it could get you in a lot of trouble. Telling them to leave will only temporarily alleviate the problem. Your niece needs to discipline her son, and call his friend's mom and let her know that he's out of control. Good luck!
