I was there last month, March, 2007, and it was great. Temperatures then were warmer than Pennsylvania.
Contrary to popular feeling in the United States, French people are really nice. I was surprised about how many people spoke English, but my college French prof said that a lot of kids take it in school. Approx 60 percent of the French can speak English. All of the restaurant waiters and most shop employees we ran into spoke English.
It was my third trip to Paris, and we saw a lot of things we missed on the first two trips.
I was surprised that we ran into some American expatriots there. Yes, there are approximately 30,000 Americans living in Paris. The guy we ran into has been living there for 35 years and loves it.
Paris is the « city of lights » -- like New York City, if you want nightlife, you will find it. However, we did not go to the Moulin Rouge. We went tango dancing. You can go dancing 7 nights a week and never go to the same place twice. http://letempsdutango.free.fr/
If you are looking for designer clothes or expensive perfume, it is the place. If you want Middle Eastern culture without going to the Middle East, you can find it in Paris. If you are looking for *African* culture, they have it in Paris.
There is enough to keep you going 24 hours a day for 7 days a week. It is all there.

Actually. right now I am in Paris. Its my 4Th time here.Ive been to every museum in town more than 3 times. um...Its an amazing and beautiful city, especially by night. The Eiffel Tower is the most incredible thing ever. The city has like an old style. All of the buildings are like old but very beautiful. If you come you should always visit the LOUVRE, NOTREDAME,THE TOWER OF COURSE, If you have kids DISNEYLAND, and a lot of other things. The only bad thing about Paris is that every where you go there are unbelievable lines and everything is very expensive!! I hope you visit it sometime!!

You'll love it! It has something for everyone, the art. architecture. history, fashion, food, opera/ music, night life
( clubs) and science and technology.
It helps if you speak some French. It tends to make the Parisians a little friendlier. It is easy to get around on foot or by metro ( underground rail) .It will be expensive but that depends on your country's exchange rate with the Euro.
A work colleague and his wife are heading there next week and I gave them a list of things they must do. I am so envious and hope to go back to Paris one more time before I get too old.

Yeah, I style of have. She gets incredibly some money to easily take place at events by using fact she's a 'action picture star.' She is common for sticking her call on some nightclubs, having a pair or 'certainty exhibits,' DUIs, going to detention center, sticking her call on a fragrance, doing a million/2 the lads in Hollywood, appearing in a action picture or 2, and oh yeah, her infamous intercourse tape. She makes incredibly some money already. what's Kim Kardashian universal for? A certainty teach and posing for Playboy?

Paris is beautiful, the parks and view are good. Also the tiny coffee shops are good. When i went we walked up to the top of the Eiffel tower but got tired so we took the elevators down. Also the Eiffel tower in the evening is good it has flashing lights and the river tours are beautiful.

I went when I was 15. I had a great time. I loved all the sights, and especially the Louvre....spent hours in there and still didn't get to see most of it. I would love to go again.
Oh, and about the French people. When I was there, they didn't seem to be rude or overly friendly. They were like most people in every big city seem to be....
