I use "complete" contact lens solution and 02 Optix. My contact lens tend to dry out during the day, especially at night. I always add 2-3 drops of solution to them everyday before putting them on. Anyone else who had the same experience but had found a new way into treating it better? Help Please :)

Even the littlest details matter!

I had the same problem and my eye doctor recommended AOSept. According to her, all-in-one lens solutions have preservatives and detergents that can irritate & cause dry eye.

Clear Care seems to be replacing AOSept so I tried it & am pleased w/ it. Here's the link for product information: http://www.aosept.com/

Be sure to check w/ your eye doctor before switching.

It gets on my nerves too! Maybe you need new contacts? If not then try to take them out half way through your day and wash them with the lens solution. Usually what is best for me is to just use lubrication/rewetting drops made especially for contacts-just a few drops and I have that fresh feeling. Something else-if I know I'm going out at night after I get off work I take them out and put glasses on until I'm ready to hit the town. Then I have that fresh feeling into the evening.

it really is probable no longer a strong theory to apply a splash lenses that has been mendacity round for a lengthy time period drying up. it really is perfect in the adventure that your contact lenses are sparkling and sterile, and seeing as they're disposable besides, merely open up a sparkling packet. As for the 2d question, I genuinely have study in the papers that disposable contact lenses would properly be saved in answer same to monthlies, yet after I requested my optician she did not recommend it, because they're made in a special way and are thinner (or some thing alongside those lines). if you're no longer certain about even if a splash lens is in good structure to be worn or no longer, your perfect wager is to throw it away, even if it does sense like a waste.

First of all, don't sleep with them! That will dry them out so easily. Keep them in the case (that you should have.?) and keep it flushed with the solution. Before you wear them on, take the contact and scoop solution in the contact and put it on. During the day when it dries out, use eyedrops especially for contacts.. It will moisture and replenish your contacts!

I would say you need a different kind of contact! The ones you are using are not working. I have had that problem before and the eye Dr gave me a different kind. I use Biomedics and they work well and I hardly clean them at night (but I should)
