Some formulations of Tylenol have antihistamines in them, which are known to be CNS depressants, and cause drowsiness. If this is the case, then certainly one would not want to use heavy machinery -- why a child would be using heavy machinery is really beyond reason though.

Stupid thing to have on those bottles, maybe they're worried the kids who take it will be insensative to pain, use a jack hammer and cut off their foot... I can just see my 5 week old grandson driving the family SUV... my daughter would be very surprised, to say the least... or are they saying Tylenol will give them superpowers so they can do those things? Spooky!

It's a waste of ink. Acetaminophen does not cause any drowsiness. If it is Tylenol PM, then the answer is simple - it's a precautionary measure, even though we all know that children are not to be used for labor... funny question at any rate.

Because at some point, some complete moron took children's tylenol then hopped in a bulldozer and hurt himself. He then proceded to sue the makers of Tylenol and won because they didn't warn him.
Or something like that...

They don't want the little tikes falling into the vats in the sweat factory. Ask Kathy Lee Gifford, she knows.

The same reason it says "Do not take if pregnant" and "May cause drowsiness/dizziness"
Simple warning for the idiots among us who'd probably do it unless they were told not to.

Some adults use children's products if they run out or are just sensitive to larger doses.

Good question. It's a requirement though. Anyone could take it. It may make you drowsy.
