Science has come so far with the incredible advances being made that confirm the validity and truth of the Bible and disprove the theory of evolution, but evoltionists continue to hang on to their misguided faith in this theory with no real proof. The proofs of the past, with current advances in science, had been proven to be false or fakes. When will they see the light and quit walking around in darkness and ignorance? We will just have to continue to pray for their eyes to be opened to the truth.

I had not planned on answering this question because I agree with most of what you said. However, I did read some of the other answers and I think I can understand at least part of the reason. I noted that one person made the statement to give him scientific proof (but would not allow the proof given by creation scientists). It would seem that he is only willing to use data or evidence that comes from the evolutionary slant...rather than looking at ALL the available data. That has been the basic problem with the so called scientific data all along. The data is being interpreted only by those who accept the theory of evolution thus they interpret it based on that belief. Until such time comes that all scientists, whether they be evolution believers or creation believers are willing to look at the data without it being skewed by their own beliefs, no one will be able to prove anything. It is the eternal argument.

It would be nice if you could have quoted what branch of science has actually "confirmed the validity of the bible".
If such a science exists, I don't think they would publically come forward with a theory that says two individuals ONLY were actually created from dust (although it IS true that humans, as well as any other creature or thing, are made of 'star dust').
I have yet to see any scientific evidence that the whole world was created within 6 days, and that the EARTH was created first, then the 'heavenly bodies' after.
As a matter of fact, science distinctly CONTRADICTS this old and outdated theory as read in the Bible.
Moreover, pure science has so far refrained from messing with the lifestyles and morals of people, and I don't know a single branch of science that 'proves' homosexuals are sinful, women should be subject to their husbands, and that 'only Jesus saves'.
"Blind and outdated faith" rather applies to religion, not science.

The only "science" that is showing any "truth" in regards to Bible stories is the pseudo-science put out there by creationists.
Ever wonder why Creationists refuse to subject their "theories" to peer reviews? It's because they know they don't fit the facts. The creationist mindset is distorted by the concept of "good science" (creationism) vs. "bad science" (anything not in agreement with creationism). Creation "scientists" are biblical fundamentalists who can not accept anything contrary to their sectarian religious beliefs.
As for the theory of evolution, it is backed up by astronomical amounts of evidence. So much evidence, in fact, that tens of thousands of scientists, geologists, biologists, and anthropologists all over the world accept the theory of evolution as fact.
There isn't a single scientific discovery or breakthrough that religion hasn't fought against tooth and nail. From jailing people for suggesting the Earth revolved around the sun, to the time when the use of anesthetics in childbirth was regarded as a sin because it defied the biblical curse pronounced against women as punishment for Eve's indiscretion. Even though historically, those fighting against science in the name of religion are always proven wrong, religion still manages to survive to fight yet ANOTHER scientific breakthrough. (And so on it will go until the end of time.) It's all the same sort of argument, different day.

"evolutionary theory is proved beyond doubt." jeez if there ever was an oxymoron .....if it was PROVEN BEYOND DOUBT it would no longer be called a THEORY. Wake up people...the theory of evolution and natural selection are flawed just as much as the religious theories of creationism.

So Ive seen people laugh at those with "faith", and yet to believe in the THEORY of evolution so whole heatedly is a kid of "faith" too. Because afterall it is still THEORY not FACT. Both groups are using faith in their beliefs as both have not been proven beyond all reasonable doubt. Until then don't try and put one another down as if one group is greater, you are both in the same boat of "faith" as we call it.

And i wouldn't recommend any black person to believe in this theory either, unless you want to believe that due to natural selection every white man you encounter is the better species the more developed 'being'. I refuse to believe in a theory that makes me closer to a monkey or neanderthal than a white man because of this 'natural selection'. Its the dumbest thing Ive heard.

There is no reason to believe that God was not a guiding force behind evolution. While it does contradict some specific interpretations of God, especially ones requiring a literal interpretation of Genesis 1, few people have this narrow of a view of God.

"absence of proof is not proof of absence" that's a great quote for both parties.

Actually, there is a lot of information concerning evolution and undeniable evidence that proves it to be correct. Evolution is as close to fact as anything else, and I am a Christian and I still cannot say I don't believe in it. I am in a Biology class for my school and we recently had a unit on evolutionary theory and I was surprised at all of the evidence available.

It is close minded Christian extremists like you who make it impossible to compromise with the scientific society about evolution. So how about next time, you do your homework before you go making assumptions and accusing people of blind faith over the internet. The Christian faith is based on faith as well, so you need to be respectful and understanding because many people view Christians as blind as well.

There is no evidence contrary to to the fact of any single item in the bible.

There are many writing in the bible that so far are untrue. The 5000 year old earth is one of them. Recently a female reptile, without a male, gave birth to a youngster. More recently chicken eggs have been found fertile without a rooster. The bible is an old story, if you like it read it and quit pestering others who do not want to.

Why are you so profoundly interested in other peoples souls anyhow? Most religious people I know have enough just to save their own.

Just where are you getting your info on "false and fakes" Plain nonsense on your part and it shows ignorance of facts.

Open your eyes. Read a book. Nothing you have written is true.

Science has not confirmed the validity and truth of the Bible (just the opposite).

Science has confirmed the fact of evolution.

It's frustrating, dealing with people stuck in the 14th century...

They hang on for the same reason many people of faith think the world is only about 6000 years old, an equally outdated and unproven theory

Deist here, but I'll answer anyway:
-Atheists do NOT have "faith", they have scientific knowledge.
- The bible has been DISPROVED with time, scientific advance, and historical findings.

--Here:
Chro 29:7 And gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.

---> Drams (Or Darics) were coins named after King Darius I who lived some five hundred years after David.

1 Kings 7:23 And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
----> (Pi surely does NOT equal 3, and it wasn't considered accurate even at these times). Pi equals 3.14 (And since the biblical God is omniscient he should know that).

Deu14:7 Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you

---> Hares do NOT chew their cud!!

Every piece of evidence gathered in the fields of comparative anatomy, geology, physics, genetics, medicine, astronomy, chemistry, paleontology, anthropology, biogeography, seismology, pesticide toxicology and any other field of physical science you can think of has supported the theory of evolution.

There has been little to no scientific findings that confirm the literal validity of the accounts presented in Genesis. What little evidence MIGHT fit has to be mushed, compressed and interpreted to within an inch of its life to mold into a preconceived hole.

But you keep believing your little fairy tales.
