Energy drinks usually contain a form of caffeine which is harsh on the stomach anyway. the fact that your stomach was empty to begin with means that it is absorbed quicker probably causing more acute reactions to the drink.

depends on which one, they are all the same but a little different.
I remember last year my gf drank a Redline on an empty stomach then went to work. she came back home about an hour later sweating like she just ran the Boston Marathon, needless to say she did not return to work that day...lol

A tummy ache and nausea can occur. Also you will feel the effects of the energy drink quicker and it will be a stronger effect.

you might have to use the bathroom to urinate alot due to the effects of the caffine. you might also get a stomach ache.

i would say you'd feel the stuff quicker and get shakey but may also feel sick t your stomach.
