Ok i have a 7.0 MP Samsung digital camera , it wont hold a charge. The rechargeable batteries it came with took a crap, they wont hold a charge. I have also tried regular rechargeable, rechargeable digital camera batteries as well as the regular duracell AA's. None of them will hold a charge and I can only get about 4 pictures before my camera dies! Its only a little over a year old so the manufacturers warranty is up....is it time for a replacement camera??

Replace. Sounds like the camera has a technology issuee where it is pulling to much juice and draining the batteries. You can fix it but you are better off buying new. Cost of repairing doesn't make up for all the added benefits (megapixels, zoom, etc) a new camera will give you.

Definitely sounds like a lemon. Putting in new rechargeable batteries should have worked if the old ones were the problem. Have you tried playing dumb and taking it back to the store you bought it from just to see what they say?

Sounds like there's a problem with your battery charger to me!

What kind of batteries are you using? NiCd? NiMH? Make sure the batteries and your charger are compatible and that your charger is working properly.

Call them for a warranty exchange anyway.
