my school is having a crazy hair day, and my friends and i decided that we wanted to do a mohawk. now, we have sorta long hair, and it would stand about 8 inches tall. what hair products are out there that we could use to keep it up?!? (ps- i heard about the elmers glue and egg whites, and not very willing to do that!)

put your mohawk up in sections. Pull a hand width of hair and hold it up. Spray it with hairspray. Blow dry and then go to the next piece.. Then touch up in an areas with messups.

It can help someimes if you hold yourhead upside down and hold the hair how you want it when you spray and blow dry the top part. That way you can let gravity help you and then not have gravity be against you until youve gotten the hair being all stable. This is especially helpful if the hair is longer

another problem people sometimes have is that they do not let the hairspray totally dry before letting go of the hair and it flops over. Your hair will not stay up if you left go of it while it still feels wet. It will flop over

I recomend freezit 24 hour hairspray
it comes in a gold can and you can buy it at cvs or walgreens or whatever
But other hairsprays will work

also if ou have a friend helping you can try putting your head sidways on a table spreading the hair out in the right shape and then doing what I said above. I saw pics of the world record holder of longest mohawk doing his hair and that was how he did it
