None of us has an answer as to why we have to feel such pain and loss when we lose someone we care about. The good ones are not only the ones who die young but those who are evil, insane and decadent. Unfortunately we feel the loss of the good ones more.
You ask why we are not immortal (please do a spell check); it is because there is a higher being who is watching us. God sent his only begotten Son to us approximately 2007 years ago. (Hence the year of which we recognize).

Those who choose to believe that Jesus Christ is the pathway to God, will find immortality. All you have to do is ask Christ into your life and you will receive ever lasting life!!! You do, however have to walk the walk...if you continue evil ways in the name of God you will not be welcomed into God's realm.
Celebrate your friends' lives. Know that they were good people and focus on their goodness.

Find peace my friend. Look to the heavens. Ask Christ into your life.

It is during this weekend that we celebrate His resurrection...Christ too was killed early (32 years of age) but He rose again in three days. This was predicted in the Bible...perhaps if you read the word of God in the Bible, you too will find peace.
God bless!

That's life I'm afraid, you just get over one and another comes along. All you can do is be thankful of the time you have had with them and enjoy the memories, it's all worth the pain isn't it? I always believe good comes from bad and it always has, even at the darkest of times.

It's ahead of us all but never appealing. Sorry for your losses. The importance of doing stuff now cannot be over stated. Putting things off is a risk.

It does sort of seem that way...nice, decent people do have a way of dying in ways that seems unfair.

On the other hand, scumbags seem to live through anything, otherwise known in some medical circles as "trash survives."

Of course, these are both just unscientific perceptions.

My brother used to say that people die in order to make room for other people in your life.

"Every one wants to go to Heaven, but no one wants to die"

I'm very sorry for your losses..

I'm sorry to hear about your losses. Try to be thankful that you had them for the time you did. "To live in the heart is to live forever."
