They have also given this Satan all the aspects of a God, yet deny they accept this personified concept of evil as one of their Gods along with Jesus .

Some Christians give Satan too much place. They give him more credit then he is due, believe he is more powerful than he is, and they fear him. Unfortunately they are taught this line of thinking by some church leaders as their way of abusing and maintaining control over them. Satan only has the power over us that WE allow him to have. Standing with Christ is where the real power lies.

Those of us who are believers and walk closely with Jesus know first hand that Satan is a reality, not merely something made up by men of old. We are attacked in ways that you could possibly not even imagine and have to use our faith in Jesus/God to get out of his hold. I know you won't buy this, and I don't even blame you for not believing it but I speak from an awful lot of first hand experience. Satan is not nice.

In order to scare people to their religion, fundamentalist christians have created satan as a boogieman for adults, and in giving him all sorts of evil powers, they have turned christianity into a form of polytheism.
