How do i disable the annoying security features of vista?

i keep getting this annoying blocking feature when i try and run an d run certain programs.

1) Click on Start>Run: type msconfig and click OK
2) In System Configuration window, click on the Tools tab.
3) Scroll down and locate “Disable UAP” or “Disable UAC” option item. Click on that line.
4) Click the Launch button.
5) A command prompt window will open and automatically execute and run certain process to disable UAC.
6) Close command prompt window when done.
7) Close Msconfig.
8) Restart computer for changes to apply and effective.

Click on the Vista logo (start) select Control Panel, Select Security, go into Security Center. On the left hand side of the Security Center window choose one of the other options. I suggest "Don't notify me but display the icon" the icon will show the security shield so you can check it at your leisure.

The other option is to select "don't notify me and don't display the icon" - you should have another type of virus protector software running that will notify you of problems.
