Giving your dog sweets is NOT going to give your dog worms! Worms are a parasite that come naturaly, and to get rid of them see your local vet or buy some special medicine. However, giving your dog sweets can be very harmful to your dog, and can sometimes result in their death. So I highly advise that you do not give your dogs any sweets.

No they do not. They are several types of worm and all come from other dogs. They can get them from being in an area where others were affected. Your vet can prescribe a medication to rid the dog easily of them.

Worms come from worms--sugar doesn't make them. But it is bad for dogs. It damages their teeth and some dogs get sick from sugar and from chocolate too. If you really want to give your dog treats, choose healthy treats. My dog loves carrots and bananas and apple pieces (without the seeds).
You can find a lot of recipes on the internet for healthy dog treats.

No, it won't give them worms, it will make them fat and give them tooth decay. It would be better to train them to carrot bits, not too much, and stay away from the fatty treats. You can even separate a portion of their daily serving of food to give as treats.
There are better ways to express your love for your pet than giving them sweets.

This is a myth. Sweets aren't good to give your dog, but not because it will give them worms.

Hi,
You want to be careful of what sweets you give your dog.
Chocolate for example given regularly or in large quantities can lead to sickness or death.
Yes dogs like it but it is harmful.
I don`t know about other sweets as we don`t give any to our dogs just to be sure.
