Be a great listener and talk when appropriate. Always remember to acknowledge everybody involved but focus on the buyer/driver primarily. Most importantly be yourself and never lie...when you ask for the sale keep quiet and show your confidence.

Mirror your customer, if he cussues you cuss if he smokes you smoke,etc Make a friend first , sell the car second, if someone likes you they will listen to you if someone trusts you they will buy from you.

i have a friend who is a car salesman at a dodge dealer. ive seen him buy his customers lunch in order to get a sale.
