Im thinking about going on an asian diet, 1 cup of rice every meal (one of those chinese little bowls), and ill eat a meal 3 times a day. i always see those poor asian girls are skinny and alot of the time pretty, i want to be a skinny asian girl, i dont want to be considered a big ugly giant american.
Do you think this will make me loss weight?

Uuh... Eating rice all the time won't work unless ou can exercise it out.

T_T I should know, I'm Asian.

Asians eat a variety of foods...a little of each. On a plate, we'll have a small amount of rice, a small amount of fish/anything to go with the rice, and some vegetables. We then eat fruits afterwards if we're not very full. After that, we'll move around to burn off some of the calories. Do chores...something. Also, there are some ppl who eat as much as they want but never get fat. So that may be another case.

PS: Sit ups help too and so does running.

Theres a book called 'The Rice Diet'. Yahoo it...

I went on a rice diet for a month and lost 30lbs years ago...All I ate was rice and vegetables. Oh ya...I cut out pop, junkfood, fastfood, fruits and alcohol. I took the weight off in a competition, and didnt even get my butt off the couch for 95% of the time - no exercising at all. I wasnt ripped, yet I had not gut or handles whatsoever. I looked good for being 'soft'.

My competitor didnt change his lifestyle at all, yet walked hiked, everyday for hours and lost @ 7 lbs.

I forget what I won...

A lot of asians have a high metabolism (like me). Seriously, I can eat ANYTHING I want, and I won't gain even one pound. Our diets really don't affect much, it's the exercise that counts. Actually, I heard that too much rice everyday is fattening (I should know: my friend is so fat, and she eats a bowl of rice everyday).

Most likely.
But you need more then rice...
Try adding some veggies to it.
And possibly some lean meat.

you could devour rice in case your attempting to shed pounds. yet do no longer take excitement in white rice, yet extremely devour brown rice. Its extra applicable in case you devour rice than pasta in case you attempt to shed pounds.
