You only get once chance to be a particular someone. I believe that we do come back and get to be different someones with reincarnation - but you never get a chance to come back and be you over again. I don't think you deserve a second chance - we agreed to No Do Overs when we agreed to come here in the first place.

Peace!

Well like everyone already knows we only get 1 shot at this life. Its not like we can say well I dont like the path I took last year and Tomorrow I'm gonna start fresh.

Believe me there has been several times I wish that I could go back a year ago or even 10 years ago and take a different path and maybe I would be a little more ahead in life. But I am as far as I have tried and just because I have choose the wrong boyfriend or worked 2 jobs to take care of my son and to pay the bills...I wish I could go back and see my son walk for the first time....But I cant cause we cant go back.

But what I do know is that if we go through are "SIMPLE" life so you say then maybe we do deserve a second chance. My believe is everyone deserves at least 1 second chance.....After that you had that second chance and you should have fixed it or worked a little harder.

The "third times a charm" isnt always true take it from someone that knows........

Anyway the answer to your question...............YES

I don't think being someone of fame or "importance" has any real bearing in ones' life. In the long run, we all effect the lives of others around us, and we all are responsible for our actions. Being the best we can be is more about being moral and responsible and loyal and loving to those who deserve those those things. The common man probably has more opportunity to pursue those traits than people of import and fame, whose main concern is usually with just one area of life (i.e. making money, or manipulating public favor/votes, etc.). Be all that you can be over the things that personally touch your life. Whether we are paupers or princes, movie stars or farmers, we all eat, go to the bathroom, and die. (Hopefully not all in one day!)...and in the end, it's not how rich or famous we became, but whether we've been good stewards over that which God gives us, and what kind of character we've manifested in our lives. And when we're on deaths' doorstep, the riches and fame wont mean a thing..but rather, have we spend our time doing things we loved, or rather just seeking to earn money to buy things that we think will make us happy or loved?

There aren't any second chances, which should make you want to spend each day doing the best you can do. Being an actor, king, or important person, doesn't make you any better than someone who has a family and raises the family, works everyday and is kind to his neighbors. Set some standards for yourself and keep them.

What we "think" doesn't matter. Like it or not, we only have one shot at life.

However, if you don't like the path your life is heading down, it's never too late to make changes in it. You can't change where you've been, but you can definitely change the direction you're heading.

Don't spend your time whining about needing a do-over, spend your time working on making your future into the best it can be. It's much more satisfying, it really is.

It appears that you are using success, fame etc. as the measure of what your life has been. I suggest that perhaps you are looking for love in all the wrong places (more or less). It does not matter how famous we are or how rich or poor, handsome or plain or anything else that can be judged my man's standards. What is important is the kind of person you are and how much you have done for others.

"And now, as I said unto you before, as ye have had so many witnesses, therefore, I beseech of you that ye do not procrastinate the day of your repentance until the end; for after this day of life, which is given us to prepare for eternity, behold, if we do not improve our time while in this life, then cometh the night of darkness wherein there can be no labor performed. Ye cannot say, when ye are brought to that awful crisis, that I will repent, that I will return to my God. Nay, ye cannot say this; for that same spirit which doth possess your bodies at the time that ye go out of this life, that same spirit will have power to possess your body in that eternal world. For behold, if ye have procrastinated the day of your repentance even until death, behold, ye have become subjected to the spirit of the devil, and he doth seal you his; therefore, the Spirit of the Lord hath withdrawn from you, and hath no place in you, and the devil hath all power over you; and this is the final state of the wicked." (Alma 34:33-35)

No. Nobody will or even can do ALL that they can do in life.

First of all you are asking the wrong people. We don't have a supply of 2nd chances to hand out. Secondly no one should be given anything. If you want a 2nd chance then you should go after it and make it happen.

You might deserve a second time around, but to bad, so sad, it does not work that way.

Heaven and hell are not later in the everafter.

Heaven and Hell are right here and right now, in this one life!

Which is all you have!
