Should I meet this girl in person? Met her online, she goes to my college...?
She posted a personal ad online just for fun, and I was looking just for fun (was getting tired of going through car listings). I responded, and we chatted on AIM a couple times. She said she got about 40 responses and most creeped her out. She said mine didn't creep her out. She said she was trying not to date for the last 3 months, and just wanted to see if using craigslist would work since her friend found a great guy on there. I'm hella shy, and am almost certain that I would not make a good impression on her. I've only been on one date, and it didn't work out at all. I'd like to maybe meet her for lunch at school next week, but I don't know how I should do it. I assume I should try and get her number, but I've never asked a girl for her number before. I need help.

ask her on-line if she would like to go for lunch. if she says yes ask for her #,and give her yours too. whenyou go to meet her,just think of it as meeting an old friend,and when you see her just smile,tell her your glad to meet her and take it from there.you can ask simple questions like what movies have you seen lately or ask her about school, ( does she like it there,or what classes are you taking ).Just go and have fun. She'll ask you questions too,and you just simply answer her.
she really doesn't have to know your nervous,it's alll in the attitude, sort of pretend you've done this many times, NOW,,GO FOR IT, and have a great time. : )

Yes, I think you should give it a shot. The worst is she doesn't like you. You said you have been there and you are surviving.
You'll never know until you try. You don't need her phone number or address to have lunch. Go ahead big boy, ask her to lunch. This may be a new adventure for you and her too. GOOD LUCK!!!

You should tell her about yourself online and let her tell you about herself and dont lie. Ask her would she be interested in a person like you. If she says yes then meet her. If she starts to ignore you leave her alone because she is not the right person for you.
