That's a hard one to explain. For me, the right one came after a lot of "wrong" ones. You just feel really comfortable with the right person. It feels like you're with your best friend, relaxed, can talk about anything, can see yourself with them forever and gladly give up dating other people. It also helps to be ready and open to finding the right one, if you know what I mean. Sometimes you're not looking for marriage or commitment, but when you are thinking in those terms, you find yourself a lot more open to someone who feels stable and secure, without all the drama. In my case, we both knew it right away, but like I said, it came after a lot of trial and error!
