I just saw this as an answer from a christian to a light-hearted question posed. Do you agree with this "witness"? Do you feel that non-believers will be reached this way?
'Jesus Christ knows your hearts desire! Making fun of God is one of the only sins that is not forgiven! So even if you're saved by truly accepting Jesus Christ into your heart! You'll still have to pay for your jokes!!!So if you're not even sorry! Than you will be going to the HOTTEST place there is!! That's hell fire!!! Now you can't say that you haven't been warned!!! Why are you people so ungrateful for your lives!? Wow! you're stupid!! '

Megan, as a bible scholar myself, I can tell you that the only unforgiveable sin according to the bible is to attribute the works of the Holy Spirit to Satan.

I do not agree with this statement at all. If you have truly recieved salvation then you can never lose it. Yes, I admit that taking God lightly is not acceptable. But, not everyone shares my views or understands them. I would rather have the other person know that while I respect their views I also ask the same courtesy for my own. Nothing is accomplished by screaming hell and fire at someone everytime they seem to be slighting God. As Christians we're told to be patient and loving with everyone, including those who may not be of our faith. I'm offended as a Christian by reading this person's comment and I can only imagine how it must come across to a non-believer. I am truly sorry for the lack of understanding in my fellow brothers and sisters.

With truth and love and wisdom. I would hope people would know better than to judge all Christians by the ignorant comments of some. It is the same for pagans, athiests, etc.
I asked a sincere question yesterday and received the most hate-filled answer from a person who I don't believe is a true representation of all others of her belief.
And I didn't post a question to point her out either, thereby hoping for others of her belief to bash her, not to mention everyone else who would be ready to point a finger of condemnation.

As a Christian, I do not feel that I have the right to speak condemnation to any other human being even if he or she disagrees with my beliefs. I wish to let my actions and my words shine as a light on to the world for others to see what Jesus and God are really like. I live my life based as much as I can on the words and actions of Christ and do what I can to bring others to an understanding of what he did and why. I am far from perfect and acknowledge that I alone can not do this but that it requires a call from God himself to the individual.
My life is an example of the change that can and does occur within someone that has the blessings of God. My body has been healed of infirmity, my mind has been healed from confusion and despair and I stand with strength and purpose in all that I do.
It is a grievous sin indeed when any one of us takes it upon himself or herself to judge another. Christ clearly stated that as you judge others so you will be judged.
Christians are bound by their faith to hate sin...but to never, never, hate the the sinner for we like they have fallen far short of the glory that God intended for us.

To each his own. I believe to judge this person for their views, or way of expressing their views, is not God-like. If they came across in a way that you don't agree with, express it to them, not on some blog that is causing you to gossip.
Everybody will have an opportunity to accept Christ.
Some need a little nudge, while others need a swift kick to the butt.

I would like to do as I am now doing. I live as well as I can as a Christian. I do not place myself as being better than those I am with. I listen to the other person perspective. I also tell them what particular chapter to read in the Bible pertaining to our conversation. To force my beliefs on others only turns them off. To live my beliefs has me explain myself. I would like to be respected for Being a christian and not seen as an abhor rant person out to use zealot or unethical means to get People to understand why Christianity is.

No.
it's unfortunate that people witness without using what's actually in the Bible...
here's another question:
Why do some "Christians" feel the need to speak like they're still in 15th c England when they're talking about their faith?

As a Christian I would not be comfortable answering this question - since I wasn't there and didn't read ALL the dialogues between this Christian and the other participants.

I want to be open-minded and unoffensive, just like I want all the other people on here to be when I ask a question... unfortunately everyone makes mistakes, and that makes me sad...
