the two ofcourse did not meet...but they were sent for a reason..

peeps say without Jesus all those people went to hell after they died...because no one died for them on the cross..so Moses being a messenger of God didnt cut it according to Christians?

I guess my question would be...did all those people who were shown the truth by Moses and Abraham went to hell anyway cause no one died for them?

All three of their stories are mythology, although it is likely Jesus and Moses were based on real people (although many scholars think Moses is a compilation of multiple early Jewish leaders who were merged into one through word of mouth).

Hello,

It is God's Miraculous plan, and if he hasn't sent Moses, we wouldn't have witnessed the Red sea getting apart, or Quails from Heaven, or Ten Commandments(For which Jesus gave the 2 commandments in which all the 10 dissolved).

If Abraham wouldn't have led the Israelites, they wouldn't have got into Egypt where Moses by God's power led them to their promised land.

It is all are God's Miraculous Plan.

Now for your main answer, God didn't send Jesus at that time because He loved His own people and gave them time to repent and come back to Him.

If they would have done it, there wouldn't have been need of Jesus (If you read the Holy Scriptures where Moses come in, you can notice that the Israelites will refer only to "Deliverer" but not "Messiah", it was after that that they got the Good News that the Messiah will be born during Isiah's time) . But we got away from God.

At-least let us now repent and get back where we came from that is to our Ever Loving God.

They are waiting in a place called Paradise, and when Jesus Christ comes, those who believe in Him will be in heaven. Also, in the Old Testament times, Jesus did not die on the cross yet. But, to be clean from their sins, they would sacrifice a lamb. That is why Jesus is called the Lamb of God. He was the ultimate sacrifice.

Moses and Abraham never forgave us of our sins. Only Jesus, living a blameless and sinless life, is able to make the due sacrifice for the sins of the world.

Are you aware that Moses was after Abraham's time and the two never met?

Edit: ah okay thanks for the explanation. I was a bit confused at first.. you reveal a huge dichotomy between judaism and christianity. Jews don't believe in Hell. They don't believe that people need someone to die for their "sins".. that's a strictly christian concept. It's just one of the reasons why jews (as a whole) reject christianity.

Moses brought the law.. God's Righteousness.Man could not live up to the righteousness of God.
Jesus came to pay the penalty of death for man..Jesus brought Salvation...God's mercy...If you read Genesis you will see two trees in the midst of the Garden these two trees represent God's natures the tree of knowledge of good and evil represents God's righteousness and the law...the other tree was the tree of life which represnts God's mercy and his plan of salvation for his creation through Jesus Christ our lord.

It was probably all a mass conspiracy right from the beginning . To create two sects of Abrahamic faith from two "brothers", that multitudes worldwide would be divided over and war over.

Sounds like "Da devil" to me, Jim.

We stopped believing in saviors after modern history made it harder to sway people into believing fantastic stories.
