It's safe, but your piercing might close or shrink, making it hard/impossible to put back in. You can take it out to change the jewelry, but don't leave it out long term or you may lose it.

Yeah it's okay to take the earring out. When I got my ears pierced I only left in in for a month

I have been given a double on the excellent of my ear and that got here approximately to me too. Its an infection. the least puzzling thank you to get rid of it is to flow away the jewelry in, clean them a minimum of two times an afternoon and twist the jewelry. or you may desire to take and flow away the jewelry out, clean the piercings, and insert jewelry so the holes do no longer close. that's what I did and my an infection replaced into long gone in some week or so.

Yes, it takes just 6-7 weeks. The only thing is, after you take out your other pair you want to switch the studs with, you must put the studs back in your ears when you go to sleep. You must do this for a year to be permanent.
Also, I haven't tried this yet, but you can stick ANY earring in your ear if you coat it with Neosporin. That way it prevents infection, and allows you to wear non gold and such. My friends mom swears by this. ^^

I took mine out after 3 weeks, but just so I could put a different earring in. I think you'd be safe. Just wash your hands first.

Oh definitely...I had my nose pierced and it was safe to take it out after 4 weeks. Just make sure you clean the area really well after taking it out, and apply rubbing alcohol on your new jewelry before you put it in, and it should be fine.

well...that depends on how fast you heal...if you're still getting some crusties, then leave them in. and if you do decide to take them out, make sure you wash them well with dial soap and warm water, same before you put new ones in. DO NOT use hydrogen peroxide on your ears, it will cause excess scar tissue to form if not completely healed.

but you should be ok!
